Spread over two floors the design for this new restaurant in Sutton was fast tracked to meet the client’s programme.
A warm, calm colour palette creates a welcoming environment. New green wall panelling & lichen leather banquettes contrast beautifully with the original brickwork. To the rear are upholstered booths, with a lower ceiling and softer lighting. Brass cage pendant lights feature adjacent to the tall windows. Brass framed mirrors and framed artwork pieces feature throughout the space. The artwork evokes a stage coach journey, due to Sutton’s location on the London to Brighton turnpike from 1755.
