Before & After
PizzaExpress Sheffield Meadowhall
We just had to share these before and after pictures of our latest handover at Sheffield Meadowhall. The restaurant had become dated and was due for refurbishment in order to remain relevant in an environment packed with competitors.
By opening up the shopfront, the boundary between the inside and outside has been removed, creating an inviting and welcoming first impression to diners. Festoon lighting and planters with blackened steel frames define the attractive external seating area, whilst timber strip panelling runs along the internal curving walls with sections of brick slips above banquette.
The bespoke artwork featured along the rail celebrates Sheffield’s rich history of manufacture from the first evidence of the cutlery trade (a tax return by Robert the Cutler in 1297) to the present day. The Made In Sheffield brand continues to have international recognition for craftsmanship and innovation and the city remains a centre for makers, production and excellence.
As you can imagine we are fairly chuffed with the results and client feedback has been very positive too – more pictures to follow in our work shortly.
