This restaurant in a shopping mall was ripe for refurbishment to remain competitive against its neighbors and inviting to diners.
By opening up the shopfront, the boundary between the inside and outside has been removed, creating an inviting and welcoming first impression. Steel accents have been subtly added to panelling on the Pizzaiola front and the artwork rail that celebrates Sheffield’s rich history of manufacture. The cool tones of the steel are offset with warm Jacobean stained timber and earth toned fabrics. To emphasise the new open shopfront statement mesh ceiling rafts hang at varying heights, while exposed lamp lights produce soft pools of light.
